The Welcome Team

​​Our volunteer Welcome Team are stationed on the seafront from Easter to October, around The Pier and Bandstand, and in the summer months Treasure Island.

They welcome, give information, chat and signpost visitors and locals. Training and support  are given, and the uniform, a smart blue jacket and polo shirt is provided.

You can also meet its sibling, The Winter Team, which operates along the seafront from November until Easter.

​

We ask for a commitment of two hours a week.  It's a great way to make friends, to spend a few hours outside and to learn about the seafront. The role is suitable for all abilities and ages.
