Contrary to popular belief we are not funded by the Council, any other organisation, nor any political party.

We rely on membership, fundraising, donations and sponsorship to carry out our work.

All funds are used to improve the seafront. There are multiple ways to support us:

Eastbourne Soroptomists - Fundraising

Gaynor recently spoke at a meeting of the Soroptomists, resulting in several of their members becoming members of FoES. Eastbourne Soroptomists organised afternoon tea for friends on Saturday to raise funds for Friends of Eastbourne Seafront. It was a well attended and lovely afternoon. The Chair of Eastbourne Soroptomists, Mrs Barbara Lunt, has chosen to support us as her organisation this year. We really appreciate her support and enthusiasm.
