About the event

Local Historian and member of the Friends of Eastbourne Seafront Alan Wenham will be giving Two talks on Wednesday 25th march at the Lansdowne Hotel.

Eastbourne has always prided itself on being a healthy town aided by the sea, fresh air and invigorating walks. Retaining and restoring good health has always been one of its key activities and remains so today.

 

For centuries Eastbourne has needed to protect itself from being inundated by the sea. And with rising sea levels the job becomes even more urgent.


Please do come along and support what promises to be a very interesting and illustrated talk by Alan who will regale you with store is of Eastbourne past and the possible future of Eastbourne as a seaside resort.
