Volunteer for one of our Teams
We have five Volunteer Teams that you might wish to join: the Welcome Team, the Winter Welcomers Team, the Gardening Team, the Litter Picking Team and the Events and the Fundraising Team.

The Welcome Team operates from April until the end of October. You will work in pairs for two-hour sessions on a Rota.
In addition, starting November 2025, we have the Winter Welcomers operating until the end of March. You will work in twos or threes for two-hour sessions, weekly.
Training and "uniforms" are provided for all our teams.

You will need to bring to the table ideas and how to turn those ideas into reality to raise funds for our cause.
The Gardening Team work in all weathers and all year around and maintain the borders around the RNLI, Wish Tower, Western Lawns, Bandstand, Children's Cycle track and World Garden.
The Litter Picking Team - Our latest addition!
Our volunteers litter pick in small groups, on a weekly basis, on the seafront promenade and beach, for up to two hours.
